Presents the 2009 Jeepers Jamboree and Jeep® Jamboree

The Jeepers Jamboree is considered the oldest, toughest and largest organized event of this type in the world. It has worldwide publicity through TV, radio, magazines and newspaper. By the time the 56th Annual Jamboree is completed, it will have taken more than 35, 059 vehicles and 101,984 people over the Rubicon Trail. People from all over the world have participated in this trip.

The Trip & Route- The world famous Jeepers Jamboree starts in Georgetown, California. Vehicles travel east over 45 miles of paved and dirt road, crossing the dam at Stumpy Meadows and passing the old cattleman's stop of Uncle Tom's Cabin. At Loon Lake, the off-roading begins.

The Rubicon Trail is considered the "Granddaddy" of all four-wheel trails - a 10 on most scales! Annually, the winter storms carve out a different trail among the rocky sluices and granite slabs providing new challenges each year. Almost all four-wheeling is at 3-5 miles or less per hour. The route traverses the Devil's Post Pile made up of thousands of tons of boulders and passes Spider and Buck Island Lakes.

Rubicon Springs (altitude 6,060 ft.), the site of a late 19th Century mineral springs and hotel provides the setting for the encampment. Here you will be wined, dined and entertained in the finest High Sierra style.
